Welcome!
Thank you for visiting my site. If you’re looking for counselling services for yourself or a loved one, I’m here to help.
I hold both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Memorial University, located in my home province of Newfoundland. For many years, however, I’ve been proud to call Kingston, Ontario my home, where I live with my family and enjoy the beauty of this vibrant city.
As a registered social worker and clinical counsellor, I have been supporting adults and families since 2007. I have a passion for working with people, listening to their stories, and sharing meaningful conversations over a cup of coffee or tea. My approach to therapy is collaborative because I believe that we are all the experts of our own lives. Together, we can work toward solutions that bring meaningful change.
I specialize in couples counselling and am extensively trained in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach to strengthening relationships. I also provide timely, confidential, and evidence-based counselling services to individuals and families dealing with challenges such as:
- Anxiety & Depression
- Body image concerns and disordered eating
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
My counselling style integrates narrative therapy and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). This means we’ll work together to set achievable goals and make progress step by step. By exploring how your thoughts, feelings, physical reactions, and behaviors interact, we can identify patterns and create positive changes that ripple through your daily life.
I’m here to provide a safe, supportive space to help you navigate your challenges and uncover new possibilities. Let’s work together to build a path forward.
